Hello guys. I know I have been MIA for a long time now. To be honest, I don’t even use Tumblr casually anymore. I am almost about to graduate law school and even with the Covid situation 2020 was very hectic for me. I had back-to-back internships, projects, field work for legal clinics and no time to even read fanfics let alone write them.

Unfortunately, this is going to continue for the first six months of 2021 as well, at least till I sit for my placements. Hopefully, from August everything will slow down.

To answer all the anons and asks piled up in my inbox for months, I do want to continue and finish lifeline, for the sole reason I like writing that story and I have an ending in mind for it. I don’t keep up with bts (or k-pop) anymore and they don’t inspire me to write new stuff either, but I aim to finish lifeline anyway.

As for the other stories. I have decided to discontinue Days of The Week series. I don’t have the mental bandwidth to imagine scenerios for the other guys.

I’m making Baby, You’re Bad public domain by my own choice. I really like the idea behind the story that I came up with and I would love to see it expanded. This can be done in two ways and I’m giving permission for both.

1) Any fanfic writer is free to take my idea, build upon it and write their own story from start to finish.

2) Any fanfic writer can use the first chapter of Baby, You’re Bad that I have written and continue the story from there on, using the first chapter as the start. (Do give me credit for the first chapter if you do)

Please keep in mind that this permission is only for the story Baby, You’re Bad.

Trans people work very hard to be gendered correctly by strangers. Don’t erase that by falling for posts like these. Gendering strangers is natural and okay.

Do not gender strangers. 

There are people who do not abide by the gender binary. Do not gender strangers until you find out their pronouns.

This post is very English language specific, this won’t work in many other languages. Plus, this discounts people who do not like to be called “they”. I have a trans friend who hates when people call her they instead of she. she considers it misgendering.

and I hate to be THIS kind of phd but a doctorate is not just a terminal degree but THE terminal degree. The convention is that you list your degrees from least to most advanced, which is why if you have a medical degree and a doctorate of philosophy, your professional title is Jane Doe, M.D., Ph.D. Because phd is more advanced than md. It’s the same with juris doctor too. A doctorate degree requires that you contribute to the field in which you received your dr, unlike a medical degree or juris doctor, which require that you learn existing knowledge about human systems and pathology, or existing laws.

If anything, medical doctors should be calling themselves physicians and stop trying to steal the title of doctor since they can’t seem to share. And pretentious undereducated men should stop projecting their insecurities onto women who have accomplished more than they.

Well, someone ought to tell that to the neurologists, anaesthesiologists, optometrists, cardiothoracic surgeons, oncologists, and gastroenterologists who have MD after their names!

call me ignorant but i genuinely don’t understand why sports have to be split up by gender.

@ everyone in the notes talking about physical performance: if that were the case, then sports would be divided by physical performance. that’s a thing you can measure. that’s a thing that varies by individual. a weak man and a strong man would be an unfair fight in boxing/wrestling/MMA, which is why they divide those sports up into weight groups based on physical performance. but they also further segregate them based on gender. chess is segregated by gender for no reason but sexism. if it’s actually about skill and physical ability, then measure those and separate people by those metrics. don’t do some bullshit gender segregation and pretend like men and women are inherently on different levels no matter their individual abilities.

the pay gap in sports between men and women is fucking insane.

The pay gaps, not to mention lack of sponsorships for women athletes who don’t look like models is insane. If you weigh over 250 pounds, no one will sponsor you. It’s why most female Olympic-class weightlifters live in poverty/out of their cars.

Reminder that in international (and usually national too) womens athletics anybody with 5m/mol of natural testosterone or higher is disqualified. (See legal case of Dutee Chand vs IAAF.)

Do you or somebody you know have PCOS? You are banned from international womens athletics because you are supposedly in posession of an unreasonable advantage in sports.

Why are those disqualified overwhelmingly black and brown? Because testing is case by case when an athletes performance “raises suspicions”. They overwhelmingly test athletes of colour, for being too fast and not meeting white expectations of femininity.
